Peanut Butter Pals Daycare Association
The Peanut Butter Pals Daycare Association is a parent's group commited to providing and supporting quality child care for children in Thorne Bay, Alaska.

The Association has been in existence since 1995. It grew from an effort by employees of the Thorne Bay Ranger District, Tongass National Forest to secure quality child care for children of the Ranger District. The program also offers services to community children, as long as at least 50% of the enrollment is comprised of Forest Service children. The facility is housed in Forest Service housing and operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tongass National Forest.

Currently, the program is operated by a private business person, while the Association provides support and oversight of the operation. Our current child care provider will be leaving within the year.

The Association is seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to take over the child care operation. Click here for application information!
